I put the boat back on its trailer. But I didn’t put it in the water, because I don’t know when I will set off.
Before I took the boat out, I tried one more time to start. I left at 1:30 a.m. I was alone and it was pretty dark!
I made good progress until the wind picked up. I was worried, so I tied my boat up and waited for the winds to settle down. The longer I waited, the worse it got. “What to do?” I wondered. I waited.
I slept in on Thursday. Stormy weather, strong wind and fog were in store for the weekend. It would be safest to wait longer.
That evening, I met a nice man named Jack Gill. Jack has helped other sailors like me.
We are still keeping an eye on the weather. Please stay tuned.
