July 18, 2007

I lay back in my cabin to start this update.  The wind was blowing from the southwest.  It’s not too cold or too hot outside. I didn’t have to wear extra clothes.

I was losing ground because of the wind.  If I could only hold on the winds would turn.  I waited for the direction of the winds to change.

I kept an eye on the compass. I set my alarm clock to wake me up every two hours.  By morning the boat was going south.

So you think I worry about the wind out here all the time?  Well, you may be right.  Losing ground makes me upset.
