The Ocean Rowing Society tracks where I am every day. They use information from a special machine I have in my boat. In case I need them, they always know where I am.
Tropical Storm Dalila settled down.
At the end of the day yesterday, I was dry and warm. I was looking forward to dinner. Then a huge wave surprised me. Five buckets worth of water splashed at me. I had no place to hide or run. The water left me drenched.
“I can’t go in like this,” I thought. I need to keep the inside of the boat dry. So I changed into fresh clothes and ate dinner. I felt good. This was a good chance to clean up.
The waves are calmer now. They make rowing easy.
