Arjun investigated how to image and characterize inflammatory breast cancer (IBC).tumor cells that form unique clusters, which spread to distant organs. Arjun calls this 3D Cell Health IBC Multi-Parametric System "3D-CHIMPS", and it acts as a bridge between in vitro and in vivo drug discovery and screening. Using this process, Arjun was able to evaluate new compounds that can inhibit the formation of these tumor cell clusters. This will now allow for better drug development strategies in advanced breast cancer therapy.
