The Arduino-based Foot Neuropathy Analyzer is a low-cost pressure measurement and analysis system based on an Arduino microcontroller, which a patient can use at home to measure his or her foot pressure. The system consists of a set of eight FlexiForce sensors distributed under the foot on a shoe. An Arduino microcontroller is used to measure the pressure sensor outputs and transmit the information through a wireless transmitter. Software running on a PC, smartphone, or tablet processes the pressure data, displays it and detects anomalies. The software can also maintain a historical record of the pressure data and send an alert to a healthcare provider if it detects an anomaly.
