The Novel Computational Framework for the Discovery of Synergistic Chemotherapy Combinations is an interdisciplinary rational design framework combining computational predictions with in-vitro validation and optimization studies to facilitate the efficient discovery of potentially groundbreaking synergistic drug pairs. When two agents synergize, they enhance the efficacies of one another, leading to a combined outcome that is greater than the sum of the individual outcomes. As a result, the probability of drug resistance is substantially reduced, and increased efficacy can be attained at lower doses and toxicity levels.
