The Lock-N- Block (LNB) Sliding Door Gate is designed to fit within an opening of a sliding door. The LNB moves or is placed within the opening of the sliding door where the uniquely-designed U-shaped clamps securely attach to the functional sliding door and the gate is able to move. It is securely closed within the door frame of the sliding door. The U-shaped frame allows for the gate to stop its forward movement once it reaches the frame. The top-locking mechanism allows for the gate to lock automatically behind a person when entering or exiting the home. In order to exit the home, a person would need to lift the gate straight up and push forward. This invention is an improvement on an existing product, because there were no safety gates currently on the market which will allow a person to secure his or her sliding door using a gate.
