Where are they now?

Jack Andraka, a 2013 Inductee into the National Gallery for America's Young Inventors™, developed a paper test for pancreatic cancer that cost 3 cents with results ready in 5 minutes. This prodigy was age 15 at the time!  Check out what he's been up to lately....

Jack Andraka, a 2013 Inductee into the National Gallery for America's Young Inventors™, developed a paper test for pancreatic cancer that cost as little as 3 cents with results ready in 5 minutes. This prodigy was age 15 at the time!

Mr. Andraka now holds multiple degrees from Stanford University.  He has given more than 11 TEDx talks including the House of Parliament, been featured on 60 minutes and in Smithsonian Magazine as well as other prestigious news organizations. He was even Mrs. Obama's guest at the 2013 State of the Union address.

Mr. Andraka holds a patent for inexpensive and sensitive dipstick-like sensor for the rapid and early detection of pancreatic, ovarian and lung cancers.

We applaud Jack Andraka's contributions to science and his encouragement to young people to pursue their passions.
