The Young Entrepreneur Hall of Fame honors students who have not only invented a product, but who have also marketed their product. These young entrepreneurs may or may not have a patent; however, they are manufacturing their products for sale or donation. The goal of this award is to recognize the creativity, packaging and presentation of their products. In addition, these young entrepreneurs have the added quality of being altruistic. They have invented products that they have used to benefit others. This altruism is a characteristic that the National Museum of Education and the National Gallery for America’s Young Inventors look to foster in America’s youth. The modern, clear, Young Entrepreneur Award reaches upward, just as the goals of these awardees do, and the clarity of the award represents the purity of vision which they possess.
